Bead For Life

I just recently heard about this amazing program and I had to share.

Bead For Life is an organization that creates jobs for people in Uganda and in other parts of the world. The people involved make jewelry and 100% of the net profits go towards community development projects for impoverished Ugandans allows for a long-term sustainable future.

I love this idea. The jewelry prices range from $5 to $30 and all of the pieces are super gorgeous! My fave is the Single Long Necklace, which retails at $10. I got it in the earthtone hue as well as purple and green and they look great layered together or alone. You can even double up the necklace for a nice look.

So how about it? Buy a necklace for a great cause--and look pretty while doing it!
