A Vintage Trinket Box GIVEAWAY!

Ever since I was little, I always played with my grandmother's jewelry. I've always loved all things vintage and that's why I'm sharing this gorgeous piece with you!

VINTAGEJOOLSFORYOU is a beyond fabulous online shop for all things vintage, including this amazingly gorgeous Trinket Box that the shop owner has sent me to use for a giveaway!

The site itself is run by a woman who is super passionate about what she sells. She has always been drawn to vintage pieces (much like myself!) and shares her love with her customers. She definitely has a flair for choosing the right pieces.

When I was sent this utterly fabulous trinket box, I was immediately in love. Especially once I heard the story behind it. In the words of the shop owner:

The trinket box was acquired quite some time ago at Hudson’s Department Store, which at that time, was the largest Department Store in the world and the flagship store in Detroit, Michigan, of the  J. L. Hudson Company.  Acquired, from an estate sale, I was drawn to its elegant, regal appearance and fantasized that it had been the home of a very special precious jewel.

Pretty impressive, no?

To enter the giveaway, simply send an email to sassyalana@gmail.com with the subject line reading "VINTAGE JOOLS". The giveaway ends February 20th and the winner will be alerted via email.

Good luck, ladies!

Be sure to check out the shop, VINTAGEJOOLSFORYOU, online for more fantastic pieces!

Disclosure: This post contains products sent for giveaway consideration. My priority is to you, and I honor that commitment by being honest! If you have any questions about this, please email me

There's Still Time to Order: Valentine's Day Earrings From Betsey Johnson

Without a doubt, Betsey Johnson has the best earrings. Hands down, no argument. So when I saw that Macy's can still deliver items by Valentine's Day, I had to write a post to let you fabulous readers know!

The pictured earrings, Betsey's Rose Gold-Tone Pink Stone, Glitter Heart & Imitation Pearl Mismatch Drop Earrings are my fave. Why?
1.) They're pink.
2.) They're hearts.
3.) They've got bling.

I'm sure there are a plethora of reasons why I love them other than that, but those are the big ones.

The only downer is that they're a little pricey for my taste; over $50.

But don't fret! Betsey has many other heart earrings ripe for the picking. Another pair I love is pictured below:

They're called her Rose Gold-Tone Crystal Heart Stud Earrings. I just love these because they're unique enough to tell Betsey designed them, yet subtle enough to wear with anything. The price isn't bad either at $25.

Even if you don't want to do a whole Valentine's Day thing, both sets are super gorgeous and you probably need them. Just sayin'.

Happy shopping!
