As I've ranted about before, department store makeup can be a tid bit pricey. Most products can be found in drugstores with very similar packaging and formulas. This is true with Estee Lauder's new Pure Color Multi-Gloss and Milani's Lip Mixer. Both glosses create a "three in one" shimmer effect and look absolutely gorgeous on.The difference? Estee Lauder's gloss retails at $18 whereas Milani's is under $6.
As far as I can tell, the quality is the same and both glosses come in cute packaging. Milani actually offers more color choices.
Lesson for all: do a little investigating before shelling out $20 on the latest makeup. You just might find that you're being ripped off.
