It's official. Shoulder pads are back. I am actually sickened by this. When the whole 80's look made a comeback, I didn't hate it. But for some reason, the trend is now taking off in a hideous direction. It seems like everything we hated in the 80's is somehow fashionable.I just don't get how someone can look at themselves in shoulder pads and feel that they look appropriate enough to gallivant around town. Shoulder pads are not feminine, not flattering, and certainly not functional. So, what's the point?
If you like the idea of looking like a football player in an otherwise cute outfit, be my guest. But I for one, will not be embracing this trend!
