Sniff This: Aramis Impeccable

I usually don't write about men's fragrances on here, but the holidays are coming up and cologne is a great gift to get for your stud muffin!

One that I really like is Aramis Impeccable, the black tie fragrance from Estée Lauder.  Of course, I'm a sucker for packaging and I absolutely love the minimalistic look of the bottle. The deep black bottle and the brushed gold (not to mention the classic lettering), make this bottle timeless.

Now, for those of you who aren't as crazily obsessed with packaging as me, let's move on to the actual scent! I had my boyfriend give it a try and he liked it, though he did mention that it smelled a little like pine to him upon first spritz. That's not necessarily a bad thing, and it was much less noticeable as the day wore on.  The actual scents used are a lovely mix of moroccan cedar wood, black pepper, juniper berries and citrus zest.

The cologne did last all day, which is a huge plus--no extra sprays needed--and was immediately something I was personally drawn to.  I'd say that it's seductive and and sophisticated.
Aramis Impeccable is a limited edition 3.7 oz Eau de Toilette Spray and will be available nationwide in Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor, Belk, and Dillard’s mid / late November 2010. The suggested retail price is $55.
