Get Gorgeous Beachy Hair with Help from Fekkai

In the summer, it's usually way too humid for me to care about my hair at all.  I generally just throw in some mousse, scrunch it up and hope for the best!

But Frederic Fekkai's latest Marine Summer Hair Collection makes it easy to get beautiful, beachy waves in a matter of minutes.  All of the products contribute to giving you an overall natural look (as if you were naturally coming from the beach), without any of the downsides (like smelling as if you've been at the beach all day).

My fave product in the collection is the Smooth Sailing Anti-Frizz Cream.  It can be used on it's own to simply smooth down unruly locks, or be combined with the other products to achieve amazing results.  Personally, I've been using this right after I wash my hair, when it's still a bit damp.  Since I have incredibly thick hair, I usually go for a little bit more than a dime-sized dollop, rub it between my hands and apply it from the shaft of my hair up.  Applying to the roots really doesn't do any good; it tends to look greasy. After doing that, I either blow dry my hair and flat iron it, or go for a wavy look and let it dry naturally. As an added bonus, this product contains a UV shield to protect color from fading (yay!)

I'm also a huge fan of the Beach Waves spray.  It's a great finishing spray that adds texture to all hair types.  This product also blocks UV rays to protect color fading.  What I like best about this, is that I can use it throughout the day.  If my hair feels a bit limp, I can spray a bit of it in and finger-comb it through my hair to rejuvenate the wavy look and hydrate my hair.

The products are each $24. For a limited time, the site is offering up a free sarong when you purchase two or more of the Marine Summer Hair Collection Products.  Woohoo! I'm all about free gifts!
