Tips from Project Runway on eHow

Have you ever checked out eHow.com?  Basically it's an awesome site that teaches you how to do virtually anything.  Including fashion and beauty related-tasks (of course, I had to check that out).  I poked around on the site and found some amazing tips from some of the fab Project Runway contestants (ummm...I'm obsessed with the show!) and I just wanted to share them with you!

Here's a few of the tips listed on the site:

  • Baggy clothes hide your body and make you appear as if you are not confident. Choose comfortable clothing that lightly skims the body. If you must wear one baggy item, make sure you wear another form-fitting item.
  • Unless it's the dead of winter, try to keep your neckline open. V-necks are particularly flattering.
  • Wrap dresses and skirts cut on the bias flatter just about every body type, and pay homage to curves. Skirts that fall just above the knee are the most attractive length for most women
  • Make color count. Colors are important - from the garment to the makeup an
  • accessories. Make sure you're wearing a complimentary and flattering tone, whether it's subtle, soft or to woo an outfit.

There are so many great tips and articled to read on eHow and the Project Runway ones are my faves.  Here are some links to their fabulous articles:

Those are only a little taste of what's available on the site.  Check out eHow for yourself and learn how to do...anything!
